This one has gone home with a collector. It keeps its place in the show.
THE WORK
The tree is laid down as rope after rope of raised colour, roots included, and it takes the entire panel to arrive at one fruit. The figure at the bottom is about the size of a thumbnail and he is waving.
LOOK CLOSER · The mango is the only glossy object on the panel. Everything else is matte, so it is the one thing in the picture that has been finished.
