THE WORK
The sun is carved as rings, ripple after ripple, so the whole top half of the panel is moving outward. Underneath, the blue is broken rock. He is a few centimetres tall and he is the only warm thing down there.
LOOK CLOSER · The rings are cut into the surface rather than painted onto it. The light does the rest, and it changes across the day.
