Whatever the figure on the other panel was carrying, this is where it goes. It comes up out of the pupil in a column of faces, notes, stars and small round nothings, and it gets wider the higher it climbs.
LOOK CLOSER · There is a smiley in there, and a treble clef. Everything leaving the eye is sculpted separately and set into the blue.
