Amanda, aka Manda Pants, is the painter and creative eye behind the physical pieces in the Spacedread universe. Working with Cassius Crieghtney, she takes characters and ideas that were born inside a computer and turns them into objects you can actually touch.

What she actually does

SHE ACTUALLY MAKES THE STUFF.

She isn't interested in making something pretty. She wants to know what world we're building, then make something that belongs inside it.
A lot of creative work never leaves the screen. Amanda likes when it does.
She physically painted the entire Spacedread art collection. She reads Cassius's digital artwork and turns it into real panels, an ongoing back and forth between the digital and the physical.
That means deciding what a colour born on a screen should be in paint. Texture. Scale. Brushwork. Which imperfections stay. Working out how something that started inside a computer should FEEL once it exists in a room.
The result is a growing collection of original physical objects from the Spacedread universe, and that practice is expanding past Spacedread now.

Amanda's longest-running collaboration is with artist, musician and creative technologist Cassius Crieghtney. Cassius usually starts in the digital world. Amanda brings parts of it into physical space.

Sometimes Cas starts the idea. Sometimes Amanda changes it completely. Sometimes they argue about it. Sometimes the accident becomes the best part. That's the point.
