Born in Mexico and raised in Toronto, Papi AQ has become a driving force in Canada's Latin music scene. The son of an immigrant family who came with nothing, he turned struggle into fuel, paving the way for a new generation of Latin artists rising from the North.

From being one of the first Latin artists featured on English-dominated editorial playlists to founding a Latin-based record label representing emerging acts across Canada, Papi AQ continues to push boundaries. He's also the creator of TRPKL, a growing platform showcasing Latin sounds to the world.
